Shipping Information

We ship ANYWHERE in Canada – with the exception of hard boats and boards.  These are pick up only at our downtown Victoria store, we will contact you to arrange this.

All parcels are shipped via ground transportation via Canada Post Regular Parcel or Purolator Ground and will require a signature.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

We are only able to ship to residential and commercial addresses within Canada, sorry no PO Boxes at this time as a signature is required on all deliveries.

Delivery Attempt

A delivery attempt will be made with the provided shipping address on the order. A piece of government issued photo id and a signature is required. If no one is available to accept the order at the time of delivery a delivery notice will be left at the door. The delivery notice will show the location and time that the item will be available for pick up. Should this notice get lost or go missing the necessary information for pick up can be found on the tracking information for the order.

The package will only be released to the person listed on the shipping label and ID will be required by that person.

If the item does not get picked up within 5 calendar days it will be returned to Ocean River.

Order Tracking

If you have not received your package in 5 to 11 days depending on the Province, please contact us and we will be able to assist in tracking the package.

Oversized Items

Items that are over two meters in length are considered oversized. These can be shipped anywhere in Canada but are subject to additional fees calculated at checkout.

  • Paddles
  • Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboards
  • Inflatable Kayaks
  • Some transportation products such as Kayak Carts and Roof Racks

If you are purchasing an oversized item we will do our best to find the most economical delivery method that also protects the cargo adequately. These can however be shipped anywhere in Canada.

Damage During Shipping

Make sure to inspect your package before signing for it. We will do our best to package it safely and securely. Contact us mail@oceanriver.com immediately if your package was damaged during shipping and keep all packaging materials.

Warranties

If you are returning the product due to manufacturing failure or oversight please send us an e-mail and we will direct you customerservice@oceanriver.com We do not process warranties on online purchases past 30 days.
