Red Paddle 2019 13’2″ Voyager MSL SUP

Available in Store

Just like the 12’6″ the added rigidity of the Voyager 13’2″ by RedPaddle makes it a great board for the paddler looking to take epic long trips and true explorations. The extremely durable construction via the MSL fusion technique helps provide peace of mind that you can handle a variety of conditions. The added length of the board with high sides, makes it perfect for long distance cruising and packing extra gear for a longer expedition. With this added length some may worry about vulnerable spots and weak points in rough conditions  but with the RSS battens the board will remain stiff even when weighted down with gear and slicing through water.  The 13’2 comes with a  nose runner fin to enhance tracking in side wind conditions, plus two smaller rear trailer fins to prevent the dreaded tail drift when loaded with gear.

  • Length: 13’2″
  • Width: 30″
  • Thickness: 5.9″
  • Volume: 350 L
  • Rider Weight: up to 330 lbs
  • Type: Touring

A guy on a paddleboard

This is my favourite of 5 paddleboards I've owned. It works everywhere and is stable in the waves and in current under Tillicum bridge when most kayakers won't, or shouldn't, go through and I've rescued a couple of beginner kayakers and a dog there with this board. It's gotten me comfortable moving my feet around which I didn't really do for the first 4 years on a SUP. It's a blast to spin this board around with a big sweep stroke because it's so light yet it's fast enough to paddle the 14km circumnavigation around Esquimalt with your kayak guide friends. I docked 1 star because for some reason the nose rocker has stretched since I bought it 6 months ago.
