Paddling Footwear

Neoprene booties and wetshoes are great for the paddler. The harder the sole the less flexibility you have and the more weight. A good rule of thumb is to have a lighter weight shoe with more flexibility for playboating, stand up paddling, surfing and sport/endurance paddling. If you are sea kayaking or canoeing and will be coming ashore and walking around then a thicker sole is required. If you are wearing a drysuit, wetsuit with feet, thick socks or waterproof socks or if you are stand up paddling make sure to get one size up.

If you do not know your paddling shoe size please Call Us or come to our Downtown Victoria Store and speak with our staff and try some shoes on.
