Ocean River runs all on-water activities, arranges meal reservations, and arranges lecture rooms. If required—and together with the clients—we select the very best business coaches/facilitators.
Locations will be at our downtown location (1630 Store Street) or at the Oak Bay Marina
Team building seasons are from April 15-June 15 and from September 15-October 31st, but we can also arrange team building outside of these times by special request.

Really Fun!
We went out after work in a huge group, and we had a blast! The staff were helpful and gave us the direction we needed to be safe and have a good time. Once we were out on the water we were having so much fun! It’s a really interesting way to spend a day. While we were out, we saw an otter, multiple herons and a seal sunning himself. We also got to see the Johnson St Bridge go up to allow a ferry to pass through! We had an awesome, safe and unforgettable experience.

Kayak-based geology field trip
I organized a 4-hour long kayak-based geology field trip from Island View Beach, a short distance north of Victoria. I retained ORS to take of the logistics: supply the kayaks and gear, the guides, the transportation and the lunches. The 12 participants were from all over the world. ORS did an excellent job in all aspects. All participants, most of whom had not kayaked before, thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the kayaking experience. ORS was very professional. If I run this field trip again, I will definitely use ORS.

Best kayaking experience in Victoria
We were recommended to go to Ocean River Sports if we wanted to do any kayaking around Victoria because it is the original spot for anything adventure! The staff were very nice and enthusiastic about getting you in the water. They brought us around the harbours and bays of Oak Bay pointing out landmarks, and sea life.
