Hiking on Saturna Island varies greatly from forest walks, to shoreline explorations, to high ridge hikes. We can pick you up and drive you to one of these trailheads. Our favourite tour is the Brown Ridge Nature Trail, which takes you along the 400 meter high Mt. Warburton Pike ridge. Named after a British explorer, Mt. Warburton Pike is a truly magical place, where you may see feral goats, soaring eagles, ravens, and even whales in the waters below. This area is said to have one of “the most breathtaking views of the Gulf Islands, as well as the US San Juan Islands.” We’ll drive most of the way to the top, then save the most interesting part the hike for us to explore on foot. This is an easy hike (unless you are afraid of heights), but you’ll need some good, sturdy walking shoes, and a water bottle. Don’t forget to bring a camera!
We can offer a variety of other hikes on Saturna Island, including beautiful Narvaez Bay and picturesque Monarch Head, so contact us for more options!
If this is your group’s first time on Saturna Island, the ferry schedules can be tricky to navigate. We are more than happy to help arrange your ferry schedule for you to best accommodate this tour!
As Saturna Island is such a beautiful place, we highly recommend staying overnight to explore the island. If you are in need of accommodation, we are more than happy to suggest accommodation for all travellers and budgets!
